What a day Team Musley Bank enjoyed on Thursday! At Royal Ascot, we saw the Steve Bradley homebred, The Ridler, power to victory in the Gr.2 Norfolk Stakes – resultantly earning the yard back-to-back wins in the contest.
Meanwhile, back in Yorkshire, old-timers Society Red and Absolute Dream combined to record a delicious, long-priced double at Ripon.
This week also saw Claretina, Monsieur Kodi (both Carlisle), and Grifter (Beverley) successfully break their maidens.
We, therefore, could not be more pleased with the form of the horses ahead of Perfect Power’s bid for Commonwealth Cup glory later today. Winner of the Norfolk last season, he is looking to bounce back to winning ways after an explorative run in the 2000 Guineas. The horse is in fine fettle, and we look forward to watching him at 3.05.
