ZIP ZIPS IN AT NEWCASTLE

Zip has been every consistent, he’s been placed on 4 of his seven starts so it was great to see him get his head in front. He did take a keen hold under Barry McHugh and was sat second for much of the race. He took up the lead at the furlong pole and stayed on well under pressure to win by a length-and-three-quarters. There were plenty there from The Knavesmire Partnership to welcome him back into the winners enclosure.
