We’ve had a few winners of the past few days and it was nice to have a treble on Tuesday. Majestic Sands got things started with a really nice winning debut at Leicester. The Kodiac-colt tracked the leaders under Barry McHugh and was always travelling strongly. He took up the lead heading inside the final furlong, he was still green and edged right but stayed on to win by three-quarters-of-a-length. It was a great result for owners The Cool Silk Partnership who also had the second in the race.

Archie’s Lad then doubled up at the track picking up the first win of his career. He was always in contention under Paddy Mathers and he stayed on really strongly in the final furlong to win by two-and-three-quarter-lengths. He has since been claimed and we wish him well at his new yard.

Fantastic Ms Fox also picked up her first win beating the boys at Redcar. She showed a fantastic attitude to battle over the final furlong under jockey Tony Hamilton. She got up on the line to win by a neck for owners Mel Roberts and Nicola Meese.
