The 2019 flat season got off to the best start with a winner in the Brocklesby for Show Me Show Me. The Showcasing-colt was also our first runner for owners Ontoawinner. We like to have early two-year-old winners and Show Me Show Me showed a lot early on. He was always in contention under Paul Hanagan and had the lead approaching the final furlong. He showed a good attitude when challenged and stayed on nicely to win by three-quarters-of-a-length.
Earlier in the day George Bowen flew home late on to win at Kempton. He was having his third qualifying run ahead of the All-Weather Championships at Lingfield over Easter. He had a bit of ground to make up on the turn for home under Sebastian Woods but they challenged on the outside and stayed on really strongly to win by one-and-a-quarter-lengths.
