Good news! Sammy Jo is back from hospital. After a long wait at Hull yesterday an ambulance finally picked her up and she got back about 10pm last night.

Sammy had to have an operation to put plates on her pelvis. She is going to have to spend the next six weeks in a wheelchair, after that we will just have to wait and see what the doctors say.

Sammy is staying with Richard and I while she’s in the chair. It will be easier for her to get about and she will be able to wheel herself out into the yard and the office so she won’t get too bored. Sammy’s mum is here looking after her and she’s in great spirits considering everything. One of the first things she said when she got back yesterday is ‘i’m going to wheel myself down to see Arctic Feeling in the morning.’

Sammy has had so many people wish her well and the lads in the yard have been fantastic. I am sure they will make sure she still feels involved around the yard while she recovers.
