Red Balloons is a horse we have always thought a lot of and she ran consistently well in his first two races. She disappointed in the Wetherby’s Super Sprint and as a result was sent off 33 to 1 for the Goffs Premier Yearling Stakes at York. A strong pace was set and jockey Barry McHugh was happy to sit at the back of the field. She made headway down the centre of the track a furlong from home. She ran on really strongly and pulled clear of her rivals to win by an impressive three-lengths. A great result for owner Steve Parkin and Clipper Logistics.
