Innocent Touch is a little bit quirky and we weren’t sure whether he’s been trying his best this season, but he certainly did at Ayr on Sunday. He was slowly away and had to settle for a position in the middle of the pack under jockey Tony Hamilton. He travelled well in the soft ground and started to make up ground two furlongs from home. He stayed on well in the final furlong and battled to the line with a couple of other rivals and got up to win by a neck. Innocent Touch is such a handsome horse and owners Nicholas Wrigley and Kevin Hart were delighted to see him win.
