Illusions picked up the first win of her career at Pontefract under jockey Paddy Mathers. She was slightly hampered at the start and had to chase the leaders out wide. She rallied over the final two furlongs and stayed on strongly to take up the lead. She stayed on well to win by  a length-and-a-half.

We then doubled up with Gin In The Inn. He’s been disappointing of late, had a terrible draw and was sent off at 25 to 1. He had to race wide under Paul Hanagan but was always travelling well and was second at the two furlong pole. He lead entering the final furlong and held on under pressure to win by a short head.
