It’s fantastic to have an all-weather track in the north and our good record at Newcastle continued with Galahad recording the first win of his career. The Sir Prancelot two-year-old was placed on three of his five starts before having a break. He was running over a mile for the first time at Newcastle and it suited him. He was held up towards the rear by jockey Tony Hamilton. They made headway and took up the lead inside the final furlong. He showed a good attitude to run on strongly and win by a length-and-three-quarters.
