We had a nice double at Hamilton with both Fairy Stories and Kingson winning. Fairy Stories followed up her win at Chester at the end of August with another solid display for the Richard Fahey Ebor Racing Club. She was held up towards the rear of the field by apprentice Sean Davis. She made good headway to lead approaching the final furlong and stayed on strongly to win by three-quarters-of-a-length.

Kingson picked up the first win of his career. He was slowly away under Paul Hanagan and had to sit at the rear of the field. He was pushed along three furlongs from home and ran down the leaders over the final furlong. He hit the front and stayed on to win by a head for owners Mr and Mrs P Ashton.
