ST JAMES IS A STAR AGAIN!

Star of St James won his second race in the space of eight days at Southwell on Friday. Settled close up by jockey George Bass, he was pushed along when he joined the leader two furlongs out. He was then ridden and led narrowly over a furlong out, keeping on inside final furlong he always doing enough to win and scored by half-a-length. Big congratulations to owners The Market Men.

Star Of St James continued his good recent form at Southwell on Thursday, scoring very impressively by six-and-a-half lengths under jockey Graham Lee. Settled close up just behind the leaders he took a lead over three furlongs out. Shaken up two furlongs out, he went clear over a furlong out. He ran on well to record the second win of his career. Star Of St James finally got himself the win he deserved at Southwell on Tuesday scoring by one-and-a-quarter-lengths under jockey Tony Hamilton. He was always settled in a prominent position and was close up halfway. He began challenging over two furlongs out and was ridden to lead over 1f out. He kept on strongly to ensure he got his win.
