Claire Underwood picked up the first win of her career. She was second on her first start since joining us from Ireland and went one better at Ripon. She was sent off at 20 to 1 and was she was held up towards the rear by jockey Tony Hamilton. She started to make a move over the final three furlongs and didn’t get the clearest of runs. She ran on strongly and got up to win by a neck for the Parker Partnership.

Quayside then doubled up at Haydock. He chased the leaders under Paul Hanagan and pressed for the lead inside the final furlong. He ran on well and got up to win by a length-and-half.

Constantino has been running really consistently so it was fantastic to see him put in such a strong performance to win at Newcastle. He was held in mid-division by Tony Hamilton and started to chase down the leaders over the final two-furlongs. He lead over a furlong out and pulled clear of the rest of the field to win by a length-and-a-half for owner Sir Robert Ogden.

We then had another two-year-old winner with Quayside winning at Hamilton. The Harbour Watch-colt made all under jockey Jack Garritty on the stand-side rail. He stayed on well under pressure to win by three-quarters-of-a-length for Bearstone Stud.
