Prying Pandora won impressively at Newcastle under jockey Paul Hanagan. They tracked the leaders and took up the lead inside the final two furlongs. She pulled clear and stayed on strongly to win by a two-and-a-half-lengths for owners Middleham Park Racing.

We then doubled up in the next race with Champion Harbour. He’s been a frustrating horse but lets hope he finally gets the winning bug. He was held up at the back of the field by Paul and only started to make headway over the final two furlongs. His run was stopped inside the final furlong and he had to be switched right but he stayed on powerfully to get up and win by a head. A great result for owners Mike Brown and Dee Howe.

July got off to a good start with a Saturday double. There’s lots of racing to look forward to this month 5 with Saturday’s Β and Sunday’s. Clef showed a fantastic attitude to win at Beverley on just her second start. She tracked the leaders under jockey George Chaloner and was ridden to challenge over the final furlong. She had to battle and when she hit the front she stayed on strongly to win by a neck. Another good result for Cheveley Park Stud.

Prying Pandora eased to a four-and-a-half-length victory at Leicester under Jack Garritty. Jack rode her when she finished second to Garcia at York at the end of last season and she’s been placed on all of her five starts. She loved the soft surface at Leicester and she powered to the front and made all. She pulled clear of her rivals for an emphatic win. There were plenty of Middleham Park Racing there to welcome her back in, see if you can spot her
