MORE THAN THIS GLORIOUS AT GOODWOOD

More Than This remains unbeaten after a dominant performance at Goodwood. The Dutch Art-colt made all under Paul Hanagan and showed a good attitude when challenged over a furlong out. He stayed on strongly to win by a length-and-a-half. A great result for owners John Rhodes and Peter Timmins – their first Glorious Goodwood winner.

WINS FOR ALJADY, MORE THAN THIS & JOE’S SPIRIT

After a frustrating Royal Ascot with two very close seconds it looked to be another frustrating Saturday with 4 four seconds, two of which were photo finishes. Aljady turned that around though winning nicely at Pontefract. He made all under Graham Lee and stayed on well towards the finish to hold off the odds on favourite. He’s two from two for Al Shaqab Racing.

We then had a double at Haydock. More Than This won first time out at Ayr and was sent off the even money favourite. He was always prominent under jockey David Nolan. He was headed over the final two-furlongs but found more and stayed on strongly to win by two-and-a-quarter-lengths for owners John Rhodes and Peter Timmins.

Joe’s Spirit then picked up his first win since joining the yard. He was sent off  big price at 20 to 1. He took a keen hold under Jack Garritty and was always in contention. He challenged a furlong out and took up the lead. He was hard pressed but held on to win by a nose.

MORE THAN THIS WINS ON AYR DEBUT

More Than This got his racing career off to the best start winning on debut at Ayr. The Dutch Art colt tracked the leaders under jockey Paul Hanagan. He was always travelling really well and when he hit the front he pulled clear to win by three-lengths. A great result for John Rhodes and Peter Timmins.
