MILITIA MAKES ALL TO DOUBLE UP

Militia followed up on his success at Ayr last month with another good victory at Musselburgh. He made all under Paul Hanagan and used the stands side rail to good effect. He kept on strongly when under pressure and stayed to win by a length for Middleham Park Racing.

DOUBLE UP ON FIRST DAY OF AYR

It was great to get the Ayr Western meeting off to a good start with a double. Eva Maria overcame a bad draw to win really nicely for Bill and Tim Gredley. She was held up by jockey Paul Hanagan and made headway on the outside entering the final two furlongs. They edged left and lead inside the final furlong and stayed on strongly to win by a length.

Militia then won for Middleham Park Racing. He was always prominent on the far side and was pushed along a furlong from home. He took up the lead and stayed on well to win by a length-and-a-quarter.

RODERICK & MILITIA WIN AT AYR

Roderick continued his great start to his career with his second win from three starts. He was held up in rear by Tony Hamilton but was always in touch. He made headway a furlong out and stayed on to win by half-a-length for Franconson Partners.

Militia then made all to pick up the second win of her career. The three-year-old was always travelling well and held on when challenged inside the final furlong to win by half-a-length for Middleham Park Racing.

MILITIA WINS MAIDEN

Militia hasn’t been out the first four on his first four starts and he broke his maiden at Thirsk. The Equiano-colt tracked the leader and took up the lead entering the final furlong. He kept on well and stayed on to win by three-quarters-of-a-length. We’ve had a great few months for Middleham Park Racing from 29 runners we’ve had 7 winners, six seconds and four thirds.
