Invermere is a very consistent horse and she picked up her second win of the season at Windsor. It’s a long way to travel but from seven runners there this season we’ve had four winners so it’s worth the long journey south. Invermere bounced out of the stalls and sat just behind the leaders under jockey Adam McNamara who was having his first ride at the track. They made headway over the final two furlongs and when they hit the front they stretched clear to win by half -a-length. A great result for McCulloch Bloodstock Ltd.

Queen Kindly won the opener at Catterick and another filly Invermere then went on to win the feature. This was only her second start after a break of 196 days and she showed a fantastic attitude. She got a good start under jockey Tony Hamilton and tracked the leaders. She started to battle over the final furlong and when she hit the lead she wasn’t going to give it up. She stayed on to win by a neck for owner McCulloch Bloodstock Limited.

Our third winner at the track was Luis Vaz De Torres and it was great to see him get his head in front, he has been a bit frustrating. He chased the leaders two furlongs from home under jockey Tom Eaves and had taken up the lead inside the final furlong. He stayed on well to beat Best Trip by a length and there were plenty of members of Lets Go Racing 1 to welcome him back into the winners enclosure.
