THIRD NEWCASTLE WIN FOR INAAM

Inaam won his third all-weather race this campaign with another strong display at Newcastle. He loves the track and was held up just behind the leaders under jockey Paul Hanagan. They chased down the leader over the final two furlongs and stayed on the best of the fast finishers to win by half-a-length. That’s the third win of 2017 for Yorkshire Connections Ltd who have also had success with Arakhan.

INAAM & HANAGAN PAIR UP FOR NEWCASTLE WIN

Jockey Paul Hanagan was onboard Inaam for the first time but they teamed up perfectly to win at Newcastle. Inaam is a consistent horse and he always tries and he was given a perfectly timed ride by Hanagan. Held up towards the back of the field he tracked the others and didn’t start to make his move until inside the final two furlongs. He hit the front well inside the final furlong and stayed on to win by a neck. A great result for owners Yorkshire Connections Ltd. Paul was all smiles after the race that’s his seventh win since moving back up north – a strike rate of 24%.

INAAM WINS AT NEWCASTLE

Inaam has been knocking on the door on his last three starts after having a break of 162 days. Considering his recent consistent runs he was sent off quite a big price at Newcastle at 8 to 1. He tracked the leaders under jockey David Nolan and they started to make an impression two furlongs from home. They took up the lead inside the final furlong and stayed on well under pressure to win by a length. That’s his third win this year for Yorkshire Connections he’s also been placed three times.

INAAM FIRST WINNER OF 2016

After just a few days of being able to celebrate the fact we equalled the record of 235 winners in a year, the tally went back to zero on January 1st. Inaam is our first winner of 2016 and he was given a great ride by jockey David Nolan at Wolverhampton. He didn’t have much racing room but Dave switched to the outside and they chased down the leader. He stayed on well to win by a length and three quarters. It was a great result for owners Yorkshire Connections who have had to be patient with this horse.
