ANOTHER WINNER FOR RHODES & TIMMINS

We’ve had a great few days with 10 winners in three days and owners in form are John Rhodes and Peter Timmins with five winners since April. In My Place is responsible for two of those wins following up on his success at Redcar at the end of May with a win at Carlisle. Things didn’t go quite to plan though with jockey Adam McNamara having to work hard. He broke well from the stalls but almost seemed to pull himself up and they were four lengths off the pace at the back of the field. Adam had to really push him to get him involved and when they turned for home and got some daylight down the centre of the track they started to pick off the runners one by one. He flew down the home straight and Adam under hands and heels got him up to win by a length and a half.

IN MY PLACE BATTLES FOR REDCAR WIN

In My Place has been running well this season after a 159 day break and he got his head in front at Redcar on his fourth start since April. He was held up towards the rear by jockey Tony Hamilton and they started to make headway inside the final two furlongs. He is a little bit quirky and did hang left but but he kept on towards the finish and stayed on to win by a neck.
