THREE WINNERS IN TEN MINUTES

It was a fantastic ten minutes on Saturday with three winners across three tracks with three different jockeys. Space Traveller got the ball rolling at Royal Ascot winning the Group 3 Jersey Stakes. Irreverent then won nicely at Ayr under Paul Hanagan. He was held up and then asked for an effort on the outside a furlong from home. He soon had the lead and was pushed clear to win by two-and-three-quater-lengths. A great result for owners Mr and Mrs Wrigley.

Get The Rhythm won on his seasonal reappearance at Redcar. He was outpaced early on but made good headway two furlongs from home under apprentice Connor Murtagh. He chased down the leaders and stayed on strongly to get up and win by half-a-length. The win meant Connor rode out his five pound claim.

GARSWOOD’S SON HAS RHYTHM AT THIRSK

Get The Rhythm picked up his first win on just his second start. The Garswood colt chased the leaders under Paul Hanagan and was second heading into the final furlong. He battled with the leader Fuente who hung left and got up on the line to beat us by a nose. There was a stewards enquiry and we were awarded the race after the winner had bumped us and carried us left. A fantastic result for first season sire Garswood and owners Peter Timmins and John Rhodes. I took this picture of this winner earlier this week, I think he might have known he was going to have a good day.
