GREAT START TO 2018 – GABRIAL’S STAR

2018 couldn’t have got off to a better start with a winner from our first runner. Gabrial’s Star seems to have found a new lease of life on the all-weather, he’s won on three of his last five starts. He was held up behind the leaders by Tony Hamilton and had the lead over a furlong from home. He was strongly challenged but pulled clear to win by an impressive five-lengths for owner Dr Marwan Koukash.

GABRIAL STARS ON ALL-WEATHER

Gabrial’s Star seems to have found a new lease for life on the all-weather. The eight-year-old tracked the leaders at Southwell under jockey Tony Hamilton. He was always travelling really strongly and he took up the lead approaching the final furlong. He stretched clear to win by a very impressive eleven-lengths for owner Dr Marwan Koukash.

WINS FOR DANCE DIVA & GABRIAL’S STAR

Dance Diva won impressively on her debut at Redcar. The Mayson filly tracked the leaders under jockey Paul Hanagan. She showed signs of greenness but ran on well inside the final furlong. She edged left before the finish but won by half-a-length for owners Cheveley Park Stud.

Gabrial’s Star provided owner Dr Marwan Koukash his second winner of the week. He tracked the leaders under jockey Adam McNamara. He made headway on the outside approaching the final furlong and when he hit the front he stayed on strongly to win by two-lengths.

GABRIAL STARS AT BEVERLEY

Gabrial’s Star put in a strong performance at Beverley to win over two miles. He sat behind the leaders under jockey Tony Hamilton and always looked to be travelling well. They made progress over the final two furlongs and Tony rode him with lots of confidence. They switched to find a gap between runners and when they had some daylight they pulled clear to win by an impressive seven lengths.
