DOUBLE FOR THE DR AT CHESTER

Dr Marwan Koukash didn’t have to wait long to have a winner at Chester this year in fact he had a double on day one of the May meeting. Gabrial The Saint has been very consistent and it was great to see him win so impressively on just his fourth start. He sat just behind the leaders under Paul Hanagan. He made headway a furlong from home and pulled clear to win by a length-and-a-half.

The Feathered Nest then won the last race on the card. She was given a similar ride by Paul, they sat just behind the leaders and were travelling strongly. They angled for a run after the bend and she chased down the leader. She stayed on impressively and got up to win by three-quarters-of-a-length.
