WINS FOR ROYAL DIPLOMAT & FLO’S MELODY

Royal Diplomat picked up the first win of his career. The Zebedee colt joined us in July and was making his third start for us. He was always prominent under jockey Jack Garritty and lead over a furlong out. He pulled clear of his rivals to win by an impressive six lengths for owner Alan Harte.

We doubled up at Ripon with Flo’s Melody who won her second race in a row. She tracked the leaders under Paul Hanagan and took up the lead two furlongs from home. She stayed on well under pressure to win by a length-and-a-quarter for Middleham Park Racing.

EXHORT BUILDS ON DEBUT WITH HAYDOCK WIN

Exhort ran a great race to finish second on her debut at Doncaster and unsurprisingly she was sent off the odds on favourite at Haydock. She tracked the leaders and was shaken up for an effort by jockey Paul Hanagan two furlongs from home. She took up the lead heading into the final furlong and stayed on well to win by three-quarters-of-a-length. A fantastic result for owner and breeder Cheveley Park Stud.

Things had got off to a good start earlier in the day when Flo’s Melody won at Wolverhampton. She made all under Tony Hamilton and won by one and three-quarters-of-a-length. Owners Middleham Park Racing also had a second with Prying Pandora and a third with Tatlisu at Newmarket.
