Equitant has been running well all season and she picked up her second win of the year at Chelmsford. She was always prominent under Paul Hanagan and was asked for an effort approaching the final furlong. She hit the front and stayed on strongly to win by three-quarters-of-alength.

Red Balloons picked up the first win of her career after finishing placed on two of her three starts. She came out of Royal Ascot well and was sent off the short priced favourite at Nottingham. She was always in touch under Danny Tudhope and chased the leaders down approaching the final furlong. She took up the lead and stayed on readily to wi by a length-and-a-half for owner Clipper Logistics.

We then doubled up at Carlisle. Eljayeff picked up his first win on just his third start. He made all under jockey Dave Nolan and pulled well clear of his rivals to win by five lengths. Dave was riding for owner and wife Katie so he will have been in the good books.

Equitant was our third winner of the day. He tracked the leader under Paul Hanagan and pressed approaching the final furlong. He kept on well and got up to win by a length-and-three-quarters.

Equitant made all under Tony Hamilton to win impressively on debut at Beverley. The Equiano colt won by two-and-three-quarter-lengths for breeder Bearstone Stud and Mr J Stimpson.

We then doubled up with Liquid Gold for owners Norman and Helen Steel. The Nathanial filly has finished second on three of her four starts so it was great to see her get her head in front. She was held up at the rear by Tony and only started to make headway approaching the final furlong. She kept on well towards the finish and got up to win by a neck.
