It was a great day for Katie and Dave Nolan with a double at Ripon. Eljayeff followed up on his win at Carlisle with another dominant performance. He was always prominent under Dave on the stands side rail. He had the lead two furlongs from home and stayed on strongly to win by a length-and-three-quarters.

They then doubled up with Stewardess in the last race on the card to pick up her first win of her career. She was held up in mid-division and made headway over the final two furlongs. She had the lead inside the final furlong and stayed on strongly to win by two-and-a-half-lengths.

Red Balloons picked up the first win of her career after finishing placed on two of her three starts. She came out of Royal Ascot well and was sent off the short priced favourite at Nottingham. She was always in touch under Danny Tudhope and chased the leaders down approaching the final furlong. She took up the lead and stayed on readily to wi by a length-and-a-half for owner Clipper Logistics.

We then doubled up at Carlisle. Eljayeff picked up his first win on just his third start. He made all under jockey Dave Nolan and pulled well clear of his rivals to win by five lengths. Dave was riding for owner and wife Katie so he will have been in the good books.

Equitant was our third winner of the day. He tracked the leader under Paul Hanagan and pressed approaching the final furlong. He kept on well and got up to win by a length-and-three-quarters.
