Dutch Decoy pulled off the impossible at Hamilton. He was tailed off and didn’t look to be finishing anywhere under Paul Hanagan but the penny dropped late and he flew home. He made up five lengths inside the final furlong and got up on the line to win by a short head for Cheveley Park Stud.
Gunnison had made all at Thirsk to win earlier in the day. Cam Hardie took the ride and they stayed on well under pressure to win by a short head. A great result for owner Mr Phipps.
