NEWMARKET 1-2 WITH MR LUPTON & EASTERN IMPACT

It was great to have a winner at the Newmarket Guineas meeting and to have a 1-2 in the Longholes Handicap was fantastic. Eastern Impact is a previous winner of the race and he loves the track. He got first run on his rivals after always being prominent under jockey Paul Hanagan. He was chased down by stablemate Mr Lupton though who timed his run perfectly under Gerald Mosse to win by a length-and-a-quarter. Both horses ran a great race both their owners Noel Kershaw and the Barker family.
